Named after the ancient goddess of fruit, Pomona is an outstanding decoration. The romantic shape was inspired by the generous rounded forms of seed pods and gourds and was designed by Susan Williams-Ellis in 1982. Each cup and plate comes patterned with one of six luscious fruits taken from hand-coloured books of the 1830's. These 12 mugs are absolutely divine. T are six designs in all, 2 mugs of each. The romantic Roman Apricot, the luscious Princess of Orange Pear, the delicate Grimwood Royal Georgel, the plump Late Duke Cherry, the rich Reine Claude Plum and last but not least the crisp Hoary Morning Apple. Each beautifully depicted on snow white mugs. The mugs are new, never used, no scratches or nicks.
