You are viewing 2 of 12 dining room chairs that were found in the attic of a farm house. Other than refinishing they are in good condition. The finish is original, only 1 coat so it shoud be easily removed. They have a pressback deep carved design across the top; shaker type finial at the top; a bentwood braces supporting the back to the seat; all 12 caned seats are in good condition with double rungs on all 4 sides; Jennylynn style back slats. The chair measures 17 ½ high at the seat; the seat measures 17 by 17 ½; the back height is 20 ¼ not counting the finials. Finding 12 chairs alike would be a nice addition to any house.
