Wholesale Lot #1042: Angels Made from Quilts T are so many old quilts and linens out t that are just too torn, ripped, or stained to be used for their original purposes. So much loving work went into making these, and I believe their memories should live on. So I have cut away the bad parts, and turned these pieces into angels and other crafts for you. This set of angels was made using quilt tops. The fabrics in these are perfect for Valentines Day with all the reds. Some are quilt tops, and these have been fused to felt or fleece to give them thickness and some stability. They measure about 9" tall and 5" at the wingspan. I have handstitched around them with a blanket stitch in red thread. They all have bows on their heads and under their chins. Assorted types of appliques, buttons, little doilies, etc., have been used under their necks and on their dresses. They all have hangers for hanging. The best part about these angels is the tags you receive with them. These tags were stained in a wonderful scented solution and then baked to a primmy perfection. They look like they just came out of an old attic trunk or swept off the floor of Grampa's workshop. I have handstamped the fronts with old collage looking stamps. These are the titles to poems, verses, hymns, or sayings about angels. Then, the words of these are on the backs. You will receive a tag for each angel. If you a special request, please ask. I have sayings for Mother, Daughter, Sister, Friend, Grandmother, Granddaughter, Aunt, Niece, Mother-in-Law, Sister-In-Law, Daughter-in-Law, hymns, Bible verses, Inspirational sayings, etc. Or, if you have a special occasion coming, or want special names put on them, I can do that, too.
