This auction is for 12 old fishing floats, measuring from 2 1/2" to 3 1/2" in diameter. All have various marks, which I will describe and draw for you. Their condition is good with the exception of chips around the pontil on most or all of them. And they have the usual light scuffs and scratches from having been exposed to the elements. The 5 in the back row are marked with 2 small vertical lines above a longer horizontal line. These marks are on the pontil. Middle row: The first (left) is marked with what looks like a N over (and inside of) a V. The 2nd has a five point star inside of a square. Inside of the star is what looks like HI, but is very hard to decipher. This mark is seperate from the pontil. This float has a 'seam' going around it and through the pontil. The 3rd has what appears to be an H on the pontil. The 4th has a 5 point star on the pontil. Front row: The 1st has two T 's on opposite sides. This has a seam going completely around it, not through the pontil. Then there are 2 seams coming up from the center seam and to the pontil. It is pictured.
