12 - Buffalo China Tan Dinner PlatesUnused Mint Condition Deadstock Date Codes Early to Mid 1950's Here is a lot of 12 Tan Restaurantware Plates that came from the basement of an elderly former diner owner. He brought some of the dishes home when he sold the business and they have been in storage ever since. The last picture above is for reference only and shows what we brought home. When I received these, they were as you see them but banded together with old school fiberglass thread packing tape. The tape was brittle and pretty nasty. We removed it and carefully washed and inspected each dish. A few of the dishes still have a little sticky on the edges where the tape wrapped around the stack. This will all wash off.All 12 of these plates are in perfect as purchased new condition. Check our other listings for more of this man's restaurant ware stash. It is all identical tan color and shape, but made by three different manufacturers. Buffalo China, Jackson Jac-Tan China and Seneca China (Mayer or Salem?). Some is brand new, some is lightly used. We have grouped it by company for the purists who want everything in their cupboard to match perfectly. Check out my other items ! NOTE:We have been serving the eBay community since 1997.
