A 1/1200 scale resin model from a Len Jordan casting of the Silver Line cargo ship 'Silverteak' built Belfast in 1930. One of seven similar sisters built for the world wide trades with this company, four were built in Belfast and three in Sunderland. Silver LIne managed to keep their 19 strong fleet active throughout the depression of the 1930s and the 'Silverteak' survived WW2 remaining in the fleet until sold to Italians in 1954. She was eventually scrapped in 1960. T his lovely hand painted and nicely rigged model from my collection is, at 4.5 inches long, to the same scale as the Triang Minic series but is much more detailed and will make an excellent addition to your collection.
