This is a model in metal made in the 1930s by Tremo, also known as Treforest Mouldings, a UK company. The model is of the French destroyer of the L'adroit class built in the 1930s. This is an interesting and scarce model, most of Tremo's production were RN warships. I think this may be an early tremo model, the casting technique looks a little less sharp than later models and it lacks some of the finer detail seen on other tremo's. It has the Tremo trademark on the base. The model is unfortunately in played with condition and although the paintwork is original it is quite worn in places , remarkably the masts are intact with just the crosstrees missing and it also has two of its 4 gun barrels intact. Well worth some restoration work in view of its rarity. Approx. 90 mm long (three and a half inch long) UK POSTAGE 1st class £1.75 OR I AM HAPPY TO POST WORLDWIDE!! FOR £2.50 ANYWHERE!!! I specialise in waterline ship models and wrap very carefully and post very quickly!! Please see my feedback.
