2.12lb Mixed Flat of 18 Specimens of Fluorite; Cave-In-Rock, Illinois 613***New Auction Layout***Beginning on April 18th, I will have 12 auctions closing on Monday night each week in between the times of 8:00 pm and 10:45 pm ET (UTC-5:00). This should make life a little easier for those wishing to bid on multiple items (only having to commit time one night a week). And It'll be a lot easier on me when it comes to managing supply, which has become much more difficult over the past month with school & travels, and I'm hoping that this will be a positive for everyone. But if not, please voice any concerns that you may have.Included in this flat are 18 specimens whose cubic habit is in excellent condition and is displayed in a wide range of colors and excellent luster. Some are simply a single cubic face, some are a pair of penetration twins, and some are a cluster of cubic crystals. They are a little smaller than the specimens that I list individually, so they are probably better sold together as a set. Shipping Prices: I am 100% transparent, and fair, with the price of shipping. I don't believe in surcharges, handling fees, or any other form of shipping add-ons. To me, its just not part of the deal. Most shipping is sent through USPS, and shipping rate tables can be found in the USPS Notice 123. RETURN POLICY This is a hobby to me everyone (and one in which I am lucky enough to have pay for itself): I gain more joy from being able to share these beautiful specimens with others than from the extra money I may make on the side. eBay's policy is 14 days, which is fine. But if you're disappointed w/ you're purchase, please do tell me. I will do everything in my power to right the situation. PHOTOGRAPHY Indoor Lighting & Display: All specimens are photographed under two (2) 5000k, 19w (75w equivalent) "Daylight Fluorescent" CFL bulbs on a matching white background & white backdrop. Occasionally, clear acrylic stands are used for display purposes. Ultraviolet Lighting: I use a UVP Lamp (model #UVGL-58) that emits both short-wave (254nm) and long-wave (366nm) Camera: nothing special on this front... I use an iPhone 6S Plus and the standard "Camera" application for photography. ABOUT ME Every specimen I put up for auction is an authentic specimen from their respective locale that I have collected myself. I am a student at the University of Kentucky who just completed a 2nd BS (Geology) last year, and is currently working toward a M.S. To me, the complex mineralization associated with the region is awe inspiring: the abundance in distribution, the purity, and the scale in which these specimens can develop is something that fascinates me tremendously.
