Offered for auction is this exquisite, one of a kind, 1/12th scale, Elizabethan Regalia doll house doll by Priska Hess-Groetsch. From her silk hat, to her lace ruff, to her bead encrusted skirt, she is stunning from head to toe. She wears a black silk brimmed hat with a gold metal beaded band over her long golden brown hair. Around her neck is a double lace ruff as well as a beaded necklace which matches her earrings. Her outer gown, which includes sleeves, bodice and skirt, is made of a tan and black fabric which resembles blackwork. An underskirt is made of ivory lace which is encrusted with beads to resemble pearls. The same lace extends beyond her sleeves to her wrists. Her bodice is trimmed in black and is decorated with flowers and bows. From her waist hangs a bag with a gold metal chain and beaded clasp. Her right hand holds a pair of tan gloves which have a leather look. As far as I can tell she is made of porcelain. She stands approximately 5 3/4" tall from hat to hem. She has 4 layers of petticoats. She wears stockings and shoes. Her face is beautiful with painted brown eyes and dark pink lips. Clothing is not removable. She is not posable. She is an Elizabethan gentle woman. Perhaps going hawking, taking a turn in the garden, or a lady in waiting to the Queen. She is a lovely doll and is accompanied by a certificate of read more
