This is a vintage 13" original antique French Fashion bisque doll. After very carefully viewing her all over and cross referencing her to books, I believe her head is an original French head of the 1860 to 1880 era, but I think a very clever talented doll artist remade the original body in high quality muslin cloth and but the bisque extended arms on her. Her eyes appear to be original as well. The bisque head is very fine light weight bisque like a tea cup would be made like as well as her arms. All the rest of her body is well made cloth. Her head turns in the cloth. She has no damage or chips. She has her original hair of mohair. Her handmade clothes are very delicate and appear to be original. They are very sensitive with age wear. Please view pictures. Her eyes are very protruding from her head eye socket as shown in photos. They are fixed glassed eyes....do not open or shut. She is very lady like and just beautiful. Believe her dress is original due to the condition, but that her body must have just fell apart for someone to remake her one...and I will add...it was not an amateur job, but by a professional because I originally though it was original until I did some deep searching. Postage will be priority shipping plus a value of sale price for insurance. Most of the time it will have to be calculated at end of sell. Well
