Lot of 13 Mexican Real Photo PostcardsThis grouping of 13 cards is from the Theodore Strothman collection. I have more of this collection listed this week.Most of these cards are caption dated 1913, one is caption dated 1912, and another is postmarked 1914.Ten of the postcard are caption marked as Strothman Photo. One is Setterholm Photo, and one is Hopkins.Included: Scene Guaymas Mexico; Unloading Soldiers Guaymas Mexico 1912; USS Pittsburgh Guaymas Mexico 1913; Palace Hotel Guaymas Mexico; Mazatlan Mexico from Wharf; Street Scene Mazatlan Mexico; Along the Waterfront Mazatlan; Rapid Transit in Mazatlan; photo of man, child and donkeys in Mazatlan (first part of caption badly worn away); Native Homes Manzanillo; Residents Manzanillo; Mexican Cruiser Manzanillo; and a locomotive in Manzanillo (most caption is illegible to me because it is white on white).The quality of these photos is rather poor. Most are badly faded and washed out. Some are badly shadowed. There's also some blurriness and whatnot.The postcards have some curling and warping. There's a nasty amount of darkening and discoloration. The backs are most noticeably dirtied. There is heavy corner and edge wear. The cards have varying levels of shadowing to the corners from when they used to be in an album. There's scuffing and dullness. I noticed some blackened fingerprints.
