13'' SILVER TRAY
I know very little about this tray. I do not know if it is Silver Plated, Sterling Silver, Aluminum...? you tell me. The tray is quite beautiful with intricate etched markings, more so than I've seen on most serving trays. This is the reason I bought it. It is in need of a good cleaning. I made an attempt at polishing it up, but did not sit down and spend the proper time to do so. So the pictures probably don't do the tray justice as to how nice it can get. I bought this from a nice little lady down the street who was moving into a retirement home and she was having a garage sale with a lot of nice things out t When I bought the silver tray all she said to me was to take care of it because it was expensive. I didn't even think to ask her if it was Sterling silver, plated or what when I left. I looked up the markings on the back of the tray - ''CSC'' and all I could find was ''Crown Silver Company''. So I'm only guessing that that is what the ''CSC'' stands for. If anyone has any information on this company or tray, please let me know what I've got It would be much appreciated. The tray stands about 1 1/2'' tall and is held up by 3 silver legs. * I have been a trusted seller on eBay since 2001 with a 100% positive feedback rating.
