This is a vintage chess set, that I am told is from circa 1970. The set is hand-painted ceramic glazed. Set is in great condition. Comes with an elevated board and two books: The Laws of Chess (published in 1931) and How to Play Chess (circa the same era). The handling cost reflects the amount for insurance for this item. I will package this well with styrofoam peanuts and/or bubble wrap.
