This is an iron Tsuba for a Wakizashi made in Edo period. The mesh pattern is carved on the polished iron body and the rim is a little curled up -Dotemimi. Kozuka-hitsu(hole) and Kougai-hitsu are decorated with silver cloth inlay. The design and the make are simple but good. The semegane ,which is attached to nakago to stabilize the blade, is remaining.
