BING and GRONDAHL Doll Houses Of America Christmas Ornament Collection - Complete 12 houses, 24 kt gold finished set. PLUS 2 more B & G dollhouses: The Victorian Doll House and The White House. The 12 house set comes in the original large red box, about 14" by 10". Each house is inside of its own protective red box, about 4 1/2" by 4 ½". These houses are very intricately designed. My camera could not reveal the incredible detail. On most of them you can see in through the windows on the front side of the houses, seeing the rooms and sometimes people living t On the back side of each house you see larger pictures of the rooms inside the home, with beautiful colored details. Each home is finished in 24 kt gold. The 12 houses are: Dibb House Victorian Gothic Jersey House Wampum Cottage 1920s House Somerville House Gertrude's House Dr. Satterlee's House Circa 1910 Eclectic House Lilliput House Palladian House English Victorian This set has NEVER been used. The houses have been out of their boxes only 2 or 3 times, then carefully replaced. They are in absolutely brand new condition, as are all the boxes. Also included is a full color brochure giving details about each of the houses and other literature about the set. Each of the houses cost $24.95 when purchased in 1995 for a total of $299.40 for the set of twelve. I am including some of the paperwork showing the sale prices. The 2 additional houses: The White House Victorian Doll House These were produced with the same incredible details as the 12 piece set. These were also purchased at $24.95 each. Please note that the color quality of my photos is not correct. The overwhelming color of each house is actually gold (the real 24 kt gold finish on each one.) For some reason the camera changed the gold into black, gray, blue, silver, etc. Very sorry about that. In one photo you can see 2 pennies placed next to a house to give you a perspective of their size. You get all 14 houses, the 14 individual protective boxes, the large box for the 12 piece set, and all of the paperwork if you win this bid. $349.30 was the total paid for these in mid 1990s dollars.
