Up for your consideration is this incredible piece of jewelry; It showcases a stunningly beautiful 1.85 carat Old European Cut Diamond that is VS-2/SI-1 clarity, M/N color. Please don't let the color scare you off. That is an actual GIA grading, not ebay grading. I have bought diamonds on ebay that have been described as I-J color with far more of a tint that this one has. It faces up gorgeous with a warm glow that is so common with these lovely old diamonds. I searched for months for a diamond when I found this one, and absolutely love it. The problem is I have way too much jewelry, and in all reality, this ring is FAR too extravagant for me. The diamond is HUGE (measures 7.8mm) and it looks even bigger because of the bezel setting. The ring is an antique repro, but it was done so beautifully my jeweler didn't realize it was a reproduction until I told him. It is made of 14 kt white gold (size 7.5), with about 30 points of round, full cut VS-SI clarity, H-I color accent stones. The ring is so intricate with its delicate filigree work and hand engraving. If you are looking for a vintage style ring, you have struck gold (pardon the pun). I bought this to keep it forever, but again, I am a stay at home mom of 4 with a husband in the military who is currently in Afghanistan and I am going to college as well. It is completely impractical for me to keep this ring. I want this beautiful piece to go to someone who will love it as I do...It is exquisite. Please feel free to e mail me with any questions you may have. I have an appraisal for the ring in it's previous setting (a yellow gold solitaire setting) and in that setting it was appraised at over $12,000. I have not had it appraised since setting it in this setting. I am listing it at a price you won't find anywhere else on ebay for this diamond, let alone the ring as a whole, but I will also look at your reasonable offers. I saw a ring almost identical to this one also on ebay, the difference was the setting was platinum, and the diamond was a much whiter D-E color, but the diamond was the exact same carat weight and they were asking $19,000...wow. Thanks so much for looking , and
