We receive shipments from Europe (Germany, Italy, France , Belgium, Ireland etc.) with all types of Antique, Vintage Textiles, Table lines and Bedding Shams, Duvets and many more items, almost every week. All have been in the Families for many many years, Centuries some times, and have most likely moved around with that family, or have been handed down to the next generation. What was once Handmade many years ago with love & care in Germany, may have ended up in France or even the US. European Linens from these Families were well cared for, especially the Handmade items. What we receive from France may have been made in Italy, Germany or any other country. Please keep this in mind. Yes, it is even possible for a Family in France to have owned a Quaker Lace cloth. Only if we know the actual origin of any piece we sell will we state such information in the auction. We can only give you information that comes with each shipment . Bring the Antique & Angelic Splendor of beautiful Tuscany in to your Home with this beautiful flowing Antique Lace Panel . These Laces are the Essence of past Graciousness For those that are not familiar with the fine Antique French Cotton Tulle: It is a very , very fine sheer netting lace which is embroidered with beautiful Satin embroidery. Some are hand embroidered and some are machine and hand embroidered. The fine Tulle Lace has the embroidery all through out the panel and most have romantic scalloped edges. We have almost all of our Laces identified by a professional Lace Maker and we value and respect her expertise. It is almost impossible to take a good picture of 14 feet of this glorious, flowing Lace, please take a moment and look at the close ups so you can see the fine detail and fabulous workmanship. If you have the fabulous wide windows these are for the most ROMANTIC VICTORIAN DECORS...HEAVENLY DIVINE CREATIONS FROM ITALY. This panel is the very old Antique, soft cotton/rayon blend Tulle, heavenly & silky sheer, the fabric just flows through your fingers. This Lace is spectacular, fluid and buttery soft. You have to experience the divine fluency of this French Tulle Lace for yourself. Rayon was the first manufactured fiber. It was developed in France in the 1890s and was originally called "artificial silk." In 1924, the term rayon was officially adopted by the textile industry. Unlike most man-made fibers, rayon is not synthetic. . 14Feet wide and 95/96 inches long you can make enough panels for your whole house if you are handy with a sewing machine because this is a mountain of Lace :) Pull them back with some elegant tassels or let ...
