He began his career as a printer in 1480 in the city of Treviso (Italy) with the work Geographia of Greek historian and geographer Strabo (63 BC - 19 BC), the city where he held his office until 1485, with a short stay in Venice in 1482. Giovanni Rosso, this edition incunabula, printed the letters of St. Jerome in two parts, the first one ended, as shown in the colophons interiors (on the reverse of folio 164 and on the reverse of folio 376) on January 6 and the second part corresponds to July 12, 1496. .
