14K yellow gold antique insect pin with beautiful deep green enamel wings. There is guillochette engraving on the wings below the engraving that gives the interesting texture. The body of this insect is created with 2 opals, one measuring 5.60mm round and the other measuring 9.25mm x 6.50mm pear shaped. The opals are set in bezels with beautiful scallopped edges. There are mine cut diamonds accenting the wings, the eyes and one between the opals. The insect legs have a fine engraved texture as does the head. This pin measures 1.20inches wide and .65 inches at the widest span of the wings. The details are FABULOUS and the workmanship incredible!!
