is a spectacular piece of hidden estate treasure that I am going to sell no matter what the price. This is from the British India estate and is a fine example of the high quality pieces that you fill not find anyw else. This one has a blue sapphire with 20 sparkling diamonds set in a striking "star" design with the diamonds set into outer arms of the stars legs that go all the way around the blue sapphire. Some of the diamonds are larger than others in a random manner. This is a very high quality stone because it is dark navy blue in color and has minimum inclusions, actually t are no inclusions. When shown in the light you can see the clarity and stunning blue color of this rare sapphire, the darker sapphires are considered to be more valuable if they are clean however I want to make it clear that this is a dark, dark blue sapphire. I know that many of you are picky about this which is why I am detailing this in depth. Indoors it almost looks black, when outside in the sun you can see the blue color. T are 20 fabulous mine cut diamonds and they make this a real knock out piece. The diamonds are set into silver and over time a beautiful patina has added a delightful charm to the piece which you would never want to clean off.
