14k GOLD .9995 PLATINUM JEWELRY MIXED LOT NOT SCRAP

The Izadora Exhibition is offering a mixed lot of 14k gold jewelry and one platinum.9995 1/20 oz pendant (missing the bail). All pieces are 14k unless specified differently.. The gold weighs 1.728 troy ounces or 53.747 grams. The Platinum panda was sold as 2.6 grams of platinum witha gold frame. We will start with the platinum piece: 1/20 Platinum 1994 China Panda coin in 14k. In researching this piece it is shown as an extremely rare piece and less than 5000. were made.(Monex) Similar pieces have sold (recently) for 150.00 to $470.00. I know nothing about platinum coins. I bought this years ago for my daughter and the bail broke and it was thrown in a box with other abandoned/broken gold pieces. One pr large 14k earrings with omega closure sold by Value Vision many years ago when retail gold was sold at $15gm. These are over an inch x .75" so are large statement earrings that would probably retail for $500 today. These are still in great condition - only worn a few times. A 14k Italy cigarette band ring - polished finish with Greek Key design. (great) A 14k Italy cigarette band ring - florentine type finish with repousse work. (great) A 14k France slide and post earrings with Chinese symbol. (great condition) A 14k Hana heart enhancer that works well and goes over pearls, etc. (great) A 14k dome lazer filagreed dome ring approx size 7 (and 1/2" wide) (great) A pr 14k rose gold filagreed earring charms that went on some hoop earrings(great) A pr 14k gold Italy cameo earring charms (great condition) A 14K Italy tiny angel charm/pendant (great) A pr. 14K Dolphin hoop earrings (great condition) A tiny 14K Jamaica charm (great) A pair of 14k angel with dangle chain earrings (great) A pr of snuggy 14k hoops (wedding ring style) (great) A pr of 14k earring jackets swirl pattern (great) A 14k Dolphin tail (great) A totally mucked up thin wire 14K (at least) chain (may be 18k but can't make out inscription clearly. (scrap) The remnants of a 14k chain that I broke. (scrap) A tiny angel head with bail 14k that once had a stone hanging off it but broke but still would be cute on a bracelet or small child's necklace. Remnants of heart hoops that were too thin and broke (scrap) 2 misc 14k earring jackets (mates missing) and a pr 14k button earrings that I wore alot at one time and are dinged up and the gold designation on the stem wore out years ago. They are still wearable but they have dings. A handmade nugget gold ring made by a friend of mine who is a fine jeweler. This was one of his early pieces before studying in Italy. It is like dental gold and is very strong. If someone just had this smoothed inside (Doesn't catch on anything but was made to look like a more natural design.) This would make a fantastic wedding ring for the right person because it is really unusual & quite beautiful. Is about a size 7. This was made in the early 70's - dental gold ranges from 10 to 18k and most seems to be around 16k. (per internet articles - on dental gold valuation) I have no idea where this ring is on that range. It is solid and is almost nuggetlike. It is hard like a lower k but a rich color more like the top range. It has never tarnished & you often see some tarnish on lower k golds so I assume this is at least 14K and probably closer to 16k. The gold weighs in at 2.021 troy ounces and if you deduct the weight of the scale lid which is .293 the finished weight is 1.728 troy ounces for the gold and 1/20 oz Platinum. The gram weight of the gold is 53.747. I don't have a gram weight for the Platinum. The average price for gold right now is a bit over 1300 troy ounce (recent average but fluctuates daily). I am starting this auction at $23.25 gram - which is low with a discount of 10% for price fluctuation or scale differentials.
