Vintage 14K Solid Yellow Gold Lion's Head Ring With Diamond ~ 7.5 Grams Nice used condition. The lion's head has beautiful detail and also has a small diamond in it's mouth. The diamond measures approx 2mm across. The ring is not really marked inside but has been tested and is guaranteed to be at least 14k. It looks like the markings were probably polished off when the ring was sized. If you look close you can still see part of the K inside but that's about it. I'm not sure of the exact age but know we've had it for at least 20 years. It was purchased from an antique dealer so is probably older than that. My wife wore it a couple times but for the most part, it just sat in her jewelry box. I believe this to be a ladies ring but it could be worn by either. To give an idea of size, the lion's face (if you're looking straight at it) measures 1/2" from the top of the mane to the bottom. The ring itself (side view) measures 7/8" from the tip of the lion's nose to the bottom of the band. It's 3/4" across at the widest point (front view - side to side). The bottom band is 1/8" wide. The inside behind the lion's head is solid, not hollowed out as some rings are. T are a couple scratches back t but I'm sure they could be polished out if you wanted. They probably occurred when the ring was tested. We figured they couldn't be seen so we never worried about it. Weight is 7.5 grams. I believe it's a size 6.The glare and discoloration in the photos was caused by my camera and/or the overhead lighting.
