100% GUARANTEED TO BE REAL 14K GOLD SUPER NICE 14K GOLD ANTIQUE WATCH OVER 100 YEARS OLD This is a 14K GOLD WALTHAM MENS 12s POCKET WATCH. See picture( actual pictures don't aways do bright silvery or gold very well on scanner, has shadow and glare, ans shineyness shows dull). The watch is from about 1906 and made by this very famous A ME RI CAN watch company. This is a stem wind, stem set, original antique mechanical watch. The case is a scarce swing-out style, rather unusal, all of the parts are hinged together, appears in nice condition, faces up nicely, and is fully plain on back side. Has a some very minor marks, wear, and a few dings but not very detracting and certainly commensurate with age. Some restoration would make it look super nice, but quite nice as-is. The case is clearly marked "ROY , 14K 585/1000 FINE "(solid gold) inside the back of the case, in logo style. The movement is a 3/4 plate, nickel, 15 jewels, richly damaskeened, with gold center wheel, appears to be in very excellent condition, RUNS WELL WITH GOOD MOTION AND KEEPS GOOD TIME , and is marked " A. W. W. Co., Waltham, Mass., 15 Jewels" and a serial number 13637xxx. Th e dial is white porcelian enamal, true single sunk, with painted black arabic numerals, and red minute numbers, appears in really excellent condition, looks really super mint, we saw no problems under our 10x glass. T is no crystal. It measures nearly 2 3/8 inches over-all length including bail, and about 1 3/4 inch diameter of the main watch. Watch weighs about 49.4 grams (with no crystal). The watch is BRIGHT, NO DULLNESS AS LIKE SCAN PICTURE may show in places. Any odd discolor in scan picture is scanner glare, reflection or shadow. ABSOLUTLY GUARENTEED TO BE GENUINE and not reproduction or fake, AND 14K GOLD case, but we sell it as we obtained it, has not been cleaned, polished etc. Just as it came from the estate. We have no idea on how, when, or if in need of any repairs or servicing, our statements in description are not from a professional watchmaker. This should be a nice addition to your collection.
