14K marked 585 Yellow Gold Ring w/LARGE BLUE TOPAZ

Amazingly BLUE stone ring. I believe it to be a Topaz but can't be certain as I don't have a way to test. Marked 585 which is the European hallmark for 14k gold. Ring is Yellow Gold. Also marked "handarbell", which I guess is the maker (see the pics). Next to the 585 stamp is what looks like a head and shoulders without features and I think this is the British hallmark for the area w it was made. I don't know the age but it is from an estate sale. Size is appx. 5. The stone is 3/4" long and nearly 1/2" wide. The band is 2/16th of an inch wide and the basket holding the stone is 5/16th of an inch tall. The stone is a gorgeous blue, and almost transparent. Weighs 4.8 Grams, or .150 Troy Ounce with the stone in . Used. Some faint wear and scratches to the gold and the stone needs to be cleaned to look it's best. Possibly a jeweler could buff and shine for you. I am NOT a jeweler and do not clean or polish the jewelry. I describe to the best of my ability but am not perfect. Use the pics to aid in your bidding decision. Email with questions. Buyer pays shipping cost of $5.85 with Insurance of $4.00 for Priority Mail with delivery confirmation and signature confirmation. Texas residents add 8.25% sales tax....sorry! I ship quickly upon receipt of funds. My items are purchased at auction/estate sales and are used. Expect normal wear commensurate with age and use. I don't know w they lived before I bought them, and my house is non-smoking with many dogs though I try to keep them from wearing the jewelry. :) I also recycle packaging materials so your box may look a little used, or it could be new and the inside packing material could be used.
