This isa Victorian mourning locket or fob that features an oval rock crystal orb that opens in the center to insert a photo of a loved one. The rock crystal is bezel set in 14k yellow gold and the black onyx beads are connected by 14k rose gold links. Both pieces have been acid tested. This piece, and several other Asian items I am offering came from the Estate of a long time antiques dealer here in Phila……. They were inherited by an heir and are being offered for sale for the first time, as they were part of the dealers personal and private collection!! The fob measures 4 3/8" long and the locket measures 22 mm long x 18 mm wide. The onyx balls measure 10 mm and the faceted bead measures 27 mm long x 10 mm wide. There were no marking found on this piece. Condition notes: There is a small chip to one of the faceted onyx beads.
