We are starting this auction at or below the wholesale breakup value of the piece. Though used, it can be restored to like new beauty by any competent jeweler for a modest price...AND, you have the chance to purchase this item for a fraction of the retail replacement (appraisal) value.The ring that you are bidding on is prong set with a BEAUTIFUL Royal Lavulite / Sugulite stone and twelve round full cut brilliant diamonds. The ring is a finger size 6.The combined diamond weight is at least .15 carats. They are VS 2 I/J color. The piece weighs 7.3 DWT / 11.35 grams. The starting price is about equal to the scrap value of the gold and $0.00 for the diamonds and/or the sugilite. The ring has been tested as solid 14K. It is marked " 14K " and some other marks I can' t make out (pictured). With International precious metals prices expected to go (much?) higher, this might be the time to "invest," and this might be the perfect item (pictured). More than one view is provided to best show design, construction and condition. The item pictured is the one that will be shipped to the winning bidder.
