You are bidding on a new framed picture of the famous home of the Pittsburgh Penguins Mellon Arena. "The Igloo" was one of a kind architecturally and filled with great memories throughout the years. From Mario to Jagr to Sidney this has been a special place for the Pens. Now is your chance to take home a piece of history. This picture was professionally taken from the Consol Energy Center as a part of the opening NHL Face-Off Weekend 2010. The black wood frame measures a good size of 14"X17" and is double matted. The photo has a sharp clarity featuring several details: the sun reflecting off the dome panels, bright green shrubs, and player-sized posters in the front windows. This has a great backdrop on a blue sky day. The inscription at the bottom of the frame reads: "The Igloo" Pittsburgh Penguins 1967-2010 Signifying the years the team played there. This beautiful keepsake is limited and being auctioned at a relatively low price compared to pieces going for well over a hundred dollars. The arena is history and all that is left is a parking lot (Last Pic). Don't miss out on a special gift for someone this hockey season. Thanks again, and let me know if you have any questions, Let's Go Pens!
