Heads up all you natural hunter-jumper riders! This is a wonderful,classic style Crosby Prix des Nations close contact saddle. It is a 15" Prix Des NationsSpring Seat and is stamped on flap. This saddle is in great used condition with some very minor scratches, etc. The billets are in great shape with normal wear and the stitching sound. T are holes w t once was a name plate on the cantle. Tree and flocking in great condition. I believe this saddle is a Medium tree, as the approximate measurement from d-ring to d-ring is 8". It has fit a 16 hand Quarter Horse with the build of a Thoroughbred. This is an extremely well made saddle and is nicely broken in. The leather is a very supple, rich German bridle leather. T is nothing stiff about this saddle. T is also nothing to get between you and the horse. You really learn to use your leg without the aid of knee rolls or thigh blocks. Beautifully contructed in England (as I understand it, Crosby no longer makes their current saddles t Everything about this saddle is high quality. After several years of use, the panels show little signs of wear. This is a classy, functional saddle which can easily go from schooling to show ring.
