(New York World's Fair). THE TOWN OF TOMORROW. New York World's Fair 1939. [HOUSES NO. 1-3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15-19, & 21]. New York World's Fair 1940 [HOUSE NO. 10]. (15 issues in all, plus a "Souvenir Folder"). (New York: Litho by Burland Printing Co. Inc., (1939-1940). Each of the 15 issues measures 10-1/2 inches high by 7-1/4 inches wide. All consist of 4 pages with an illustrated cover page followed by descriptive text, which of course includes a list of the sponsors. The design changed after the first issue, which depicts "House No. 1", was the subsequent issues prefer the term "Demonstration Home". All but the first issue include a blueprint or floor plan depicted across the top third of page 3 with accompanying descriptive text framed in a matching color box on the facing page. The 1940 issue includes 2 floor plans on facing pages. One of the issues is horizontally folded in half. Very good.The pamphlets are housed in a 12 inch high by 9 inch wide Souvenir Folder printed in black on heavy orange stock. The folder is titled "The Town of Tomorrow and Home Building Center" above a diagram on the front cover . A list of sponsors, noting their location, is printed within.
