Spring cleaning continues....... Too many pipes and not enough time to restore all of them. We gathered additional pipes together and will again offer them in small lots. In response to several requests from past buyers a number of these groups have not been reamed nor plateaus cleaned. These pipes should present an enjoyable challenge to ready them for firing or resell. This lot #15 This is a no reserve listing for a group of four assorted estate pipes. Each pipe is in fair/good condition. All stems are solid. Most stems have minor bite impressions. No stem has bite through. Stems with strong bite impressions will be noted. Some pipes have bumps or dents/chips as expected. #1 - Buckminster - about 5 1/8" long, 1 5/8" bowl height and 11/16" bore diameter. Blasted surface. Black coloration. Shank nomenclature: "Buckminster/ Made in England". #2 -Spartan - about 5 1/4" long, 1 5/8" bowl height and 3/4" bore diameter. Blasted surface. Medium maple coloration. "S" (in a circle) on stem. Shank nomenclature: "Yello-Bol/ Spartan/ Imported Briar.#3 - Italian - about 5 1/2" long, 1 3/4" bowl height and 11/16" bore diameter. Rusticated surface. Black coloration. Shank nomenclature: "Italian/ Import/ Italy". #4 - Bewlay - about 5 5/8" long, 1 1/2" bowl height and 13/16" bore diameter. Smooth surface with lots mixed grain. Medium walnut coloration. read more
