Fresh from a fabulous multi-generation Japanese American estate comes this mid 20th century Royal Copenhagen Blue Fluted coffee service for six. This is a first quality set. It includes a No. 48 five-cup coffee pot, a No. 244 covered sugar bowl, No. 60 creamer and 6 No. 79-86-315 Cups and Saucers. One cup has a shallow flake of the rim, seen from the side and from the top at 10:00 o'clock in the last two photos. This set is in otherwise excellent condition. These pieces are hand painted and artist signed. Replacement value is over $650. The previous 82 year old owner was a 1953 Yale graduate (and multi-degreed professor) whose physician father also graduated from Yale in 1929. Included in this wonderful estate was a large suitcase filled with three generations of kimonos that have been packed away since 1964.
