Hello, My name is Blake and I own and operate Mission Mountain Tanning. Every year I buy and sell some of the nicest capes available anywhere. ALL of the capes that you will see me listing are harvested from 100% wild free roaming animals. All capes are professionally turned, and tanned with Lutan. Unlike most tanneries, I am a small custom (not wholesale) tannery that works on a small amount of pieces and no corners are cut on my tanning. Also unique to my wet tan process- I sweat all my capes with oil for a number of hours and tumble lightly in new sawdust. Most tanneries skip this process on wet tans. I have found this step helps relax the cape making them especially stretchy and just a whole lot easier to prep/mount. Impeccable detail is given to these capes from the moment I take the capes off the skull to the final combing before they go in the freezer. You will not find a nicer tan, nicer quality capes, or more detail given anywhere! These critters deserve the utmost respect-antlered animals are gods greatest creatures! Buy with no worries-all capes are sold with a money back guarantee. Capes must be refroze and sent back within 14 business days. Altered capes in any way will not be accepted. Mission Mountain Tanning cannot be held liable for knowing your states laws concerning importing tanned capes/wildlife! Please check your states laws before buying! All capes will be shipped out on mondays-being wet tanned. If you don't pay by 10p.m. on sunday night, your cape will not be shipped til the folllowing monday. Measurements given are the exact numbers I would use if I was going to mount the cape. Over the years I have had zero complaints concerning the sizes given. If you are unfamiliar with wet tans... Please don't waste my time:] 7 1/2" eye to nose, 15" easy directly under the ears, perfect ears, nice light face, lighter orange neck with lots of bright markings, clean armpits/brisket. Excellent looking antelope Defects: older scar across entire brow (hardly noticable), slight blood stained hair/brisket/cpix, 1/4" entry bullethole low left shoulder, 2" straight skinning hole edge of seam (looks like they started seam and decided to start a little farther over-easy), 1/2" skinning nick edge of brisket-most likely cut off, upper hair is fairly tight with a few typical antelope stray hairs, bottom portion of cape has more loose hair than top with one spot that has totally slipped-cut off form unless pedestal. This cape will mount up just fine-just beware it has a few loose hairs, nice bright cape A sincere THANK YOU to all my new and return customers...Thanks for looking, Good bidding
