The title lacking, the colophon misbound in its place. A rare account of Spanish affairs of court as interpreted through a series of letters. English black letter text throughout, with a number of decorative woodcut initials. Despite some loss of text, in general a good wide margined copy in decent condition. 8vo, bound in modern red buckram, navy morocco titlelabel to spine. The contents are lacking all 4 prefatory leaves including title, the first 11 leaves sigs A-C3 (pp. 1-22), 1 leaf at sig Bbb4 (pp. 367/8), the final leaf of text (sig Xxx1) and the 2 leaves of contents (sigs Xxx2 & 3).
