Mid 15th Century Pair Of Milanese Style Mitten Gauntlets. Located within the grounds of an 11th century priory, 1.5 miles from where the famous Battle of Marston Moor took place our armour is handmade using traditional methods. Handmade in an converted stable in an area steeped in British history and magical ambience we feel that it is nice to know a little about where your armour is handmade. Needless to say these are not imported from a sweat factory. Similar to the gauntlets featured on the famous "Avant" harness in Glasgow these superb gauntlets feature: 18 gauge steel construction Steel rivetted plates Quality red leather strapping with brass rivet fixing detail 2 hand straps and 1 thumb strap Superb articulation ( as shown holding a hammer ) Fully rolled cuff top with decorative rivets HANDBEATEN LAMES!
