A-OK ARTIQUES is very proud to offer a large, heavy, beautiful hand hammered three dimensional 16" platter with many fruits hammered out. T are berries, pineapples, strawberries, apples, pears, etc. The hand hammered background is just amazing. Each tiny hammer mark is like a sp with tiny points around each and every one. It was so carefully done that each is an individual "star" with no over-lapping. This was done very painstakingly and must have taken forever to complete. The fruits are just amazing being so real looking and quite perfectly made. This was created by the Master Silversmith MACIEL who was active from the 1930's until the 1970's in Mexico City. This has to be the finest ornate piece of Mexican Silver to be found. This glorious piece is in original and excellent condition. It is quite perfect and very, very beautiful. On scale it weighs approx. 3.2 lbs. (bathroom scale). It is marked on edge, see photos. This platter is a very important, true work of art by a Master, Master Mexican Silversmith. We are selling some of our wonderful, important pieces because we just opened a new store (gallery) in Edmond, Oklahoma (Boutique de Beverly Hills, 3331 S.
