Very early 17th Century set of SpanishGold Crotal bells found near St. Augustine, FL. near a Mission site. Probably used as trade with the local Indian population. Found along the beach detecting along with early Spanish cobs that I am also listing. Bells seem to have floral decoration and are probably gilded. Solid Gold oval link joins the two with spiral designs. Each bell is approx. 3/8"inches across. Overall in length of two approx. 1.25"inches. Still contain what appears to be lead balls in the bells. Mission period from 1580 t0 1630. Also found were Cheveron Beads. Buyer pays S&ins. (Ins. optional at own risk). Paypal payment preffered or Money order and personal check.
