For this auction: A very special early English Hymnbook- -is The Psalms of David in Metre- published in 1640!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's right!!! This Book is 371 years old!!! This is the Sternhold and Hopkins Edition-published at London-. 6" by 3 1/2" Interior of Book is in good condition with slight foxing. Some edge wear, slight tears and spots on some pages. Wrinkling of pages also. Front and rear endpapers. The main text is 95 pages. Also includes the Veni Creator. Doxologies, prayers, The 10 Commandments, The Lord's Prayer and much, much more!!!! This is a complete Psalms in Metre. Check out some of the early spelling-fascinating!!!!! Exterior-this book has the original nice dark leather covers and binding. The book received a clear book tape at the center joint to strengthen it. You can see it in the pictures. Holding quite well. Please view the photos- This is a very nice working copy of the very early English Hymn Book-341 years old!!!!! The 1640 Psalms will be mailed insured. God bless!!
