1652 Oak Tree Shilling, Noe-5, Salmon 3-d, W-470, rarity 2. Large planchet. (Formerly in ANACS slab # 5189357 but someone removed--now a raw coin) . Holed and plugged at 7 o'clock on the date side. F-VF Details with nearly full weight at 63.8 grains . The date, legend and denomination on the reverse are bold. About half of the tree is visible along with the trunk and ground line on the obverse when turned at a certain angles. These coins were struck on a rocker coin press which often left a "waviness" to the coin making the tree slightly raised and subject to more wear then the date side.PAYMENT: PAYPAL ONLY.
