A very old book, dated M. DC. LIX. ~1659~. The book measures about 5-7/8 inches x 3-3/8 x 7/8 inches. The cover looks to be a leather; from either goat, pig, or some other animal. The pages have darkened with age; 348 years, they do show some very light stain and soil. The first couple of pages have a few small insect holes and a small tear. The binding is in very nice condition, for the age; t is a small tear at the top of the outside spine cover, and again a few small insect holes; t was also some scotch tape on the top of the spine, w the tear is. I don't know Latin, but this appears to be either a play or dialog. The black print is very bright. I would say this book survived the ages in remarkably good condition.
