54 engravings -- 52 after Raphael's biblical frescoes in the Vatican Loggia (48 Old Testament and 4 New Testament). BOUND WITH 12 fine engravings of the Apostles (Saints Peter, Paul, Andrew, Jacob Major, John, Thomas, Phillip, Matthew, Jacob Minor, Bartholemew, Simon, and Thadaeus) [copied from Church carvings by Lanfranchi]. Titles in Latin and French: "Sacrae historia acta a Raphael Urbin. in Vaticanis xystis ad picturae miraculum expressa." BOUND WITH "Les Apôtres." Rough Translation: " Sacred History of Raphael of Urbino, in the Vatican ... " BOUND WITH The Twelve Apostles -- THESE ARE SHOWN AS THE LAST IMAGES BELOW. Artist and Draftsman for the Raphael: Nicolaus Chapron (1612-1656) -- in a trip to the Vatican in the year 1649, Chapron copied Raphael's frescoes in the Vatican Logge .
