It is on Laid Paper and Has a Full Papermakers Watermark and is in Nice Sound Condition HOWEVER I have added Three Pieces of Archival Tape to the right side at the ends of The Folds shoring it up very Nicely. This is a Memorandum for The Recognizance of Samuel Peck Yeoman of Rehoboth as Principal & who Bound himself for 50 Pounds of Lawful Money of New England and Boniaman Hunt Blacksmith of the same place for Twenty Five Pounds and as well John Peck for Twenty Five Pounds did Personally appear before Nicholas Peck Justice for The County of Bristol and acknowledged themselves to be severally indebted to The King and Queen their Heir or Successors.. The Condition of this Present Recognizance is such that if The above Bound Samuel Peck shall make his personal appearance before their Majesty Justices of The Peace at The next Quarter Sessions of The Peace to be held at Bristol for The County Then & T to answer to such things then and t as shal be objected against Him on T Majesty Behalf IN THAT THE SAID SAMUEL PECK HATH GOTTEN SARA SABON OF REHOBOTH SINGLE WOMAN WITH CHILD as SHE DOTH SAY and shall in The meantime be of Good Behavior. is a chance to own a Bright Seventeenth Century Document in Good Condition. 7 1/2 x 10 1/2" $8.35 for the Insured Priority Mail.
