Offering a 16th Century German (probably Nuremberg) Brass Alms Dish. The piece is very nicely decorated with a rich brass patina. There are two bands of gothic text around a geometrical pattern. The dish measures approximately 15 inches in diameter. Great item to hang over a fireplace. It is heavy and in very good condition. There is an early punched hole on the top of the dish used for hanging, otherwise the item is very solid. See photos for more details.
