Description: I am pleased to offer you this lovely 1930s "unmarked" Shirley Temple doll. I do not know her past history, and or if any restoration were made, but will try to describe her the best I can with any flaws. Reference shows similar dolls made by Goldberger, Horsman and others in the 1930s to 1940s, many unmarked. This doll measures just under 17" tall being all composition jointed at the neck, shoulders and legs with all fingers and toes intact. She has been restrung and displays well. Body shows some overall wear on the composition, crazing, scuffs, possibly a repaint on the torso. I notice line crack repair on the right foot. Great little face with open and close tin sleepy eyes that work fine, retains upper human hair lashes, painted lashes above the eyes, she has brown brows and open mouth with upper teeth and molded tongue. There is a "dimple" in each cheek. Lovely blush on her "near" perfect little face. Blonde curly top wig secure on her head, a charming wig I believe original. W ears a charming red & white dress with "The Worlds Darling" pin. Dress is clean with buttons down the back, there is no dress tag. She wear old undies and replacement shoes. I have taken plenty of photos. Please look at my photos they will serve as part of this description. If you would like further photos or have questions please email read more
