Hello,This is an antique Simon & Halbig doll with the very hard to find mold of 970. She is marked S7H 970 DEP on the bottom of the back of her shoulder plate. She has no chips, cracks or repairs or hairlines to her head and pictures #2, #3, #4 and #5 show all 4 sides with the flashlight shone into the head. She measures 17 1/2" tall with a head circumference of 8 1/2"and has bisque lower forearms and a kid leather body.She has that beautiful smiling facial expression with full cheeks pushed out with the smile. Large blue spiral eyes that are inset and do not close and an open mouth with teeth. Her neck does not swivel. Her forearms and hands have no chips or breaks. The arms hang down at her sides. She has pierced ears.Her leather body is very good in general but the right knee seam is tore almost all the way across, please see picture #12. She also has a hole on the left side of her body that you can see in picture #1 but I can send a close up picture to you if needed. On the seam above the left knee it is also loose but not tore like the right one.
