17" Arranbee Hard Plastic Doll - Vintage (Nanette?)This doll is from the 1950's.She has a sweet face and I think she is Nanette, but I'm not absolutely sure of that. That is the doll she most resembles from my reference books.She is hard plastic with movable head, arms, and legs.The back of her head is marked " R & B" though the B is barely visible.She has a strawberry blond mohair wig (original) with original gold barettes. It could use some "combing" but I will leave that to a new owner. The wig is full and very nice. It has a side part.Her sleep eyes are blue with real lashes and a touch of eye shadow; painted eyebrows and painted red lips.She has all her fingers!Her skin tone is light...no color on her cheeks. There is some paint chipping around her neck and some minor chipping on one side of her face to slightly under her chin...which doesn't show because of her hair. The color on the rest of her face is fine. Her right arm has some fading which does show. The chipping at her neck is barely noticeable when she is fully dressed and on display.She wears her original dress, undies and slip. There is some minor discoloration to dress which I think is age related. All would probably look great with a cleaning, but, again, I'll leave that to the new owner.No shoes or socks.She came with a floppy brimmed hat that I think is vintage, read more
