Beautiful 1940s Palitoy (Cascelloid) girl marked "Plastex" reg. England on the back of her head. She has been in my collection for many years, displayed away from sunlight. 17" tall, wearing her original factory made skirt, all in one blouse and matching bonnet with original ribbon and "Palitoy Playthings" label sewn into the seam of the skirt. As you can see in photo's, she is in lovely condition. Face paint is almost factory fresh, no fading of colour, no paint rubs and no crazing. One finger and one thumb has a small un-noticeable paint rub and there is some minor rubbing around the joints. She was restrung some years ago. Clear blue sleep eyes open and close well, missing aprox 50% of her lashes on the right eye. Her original blonde mohair wig is clean and untouched but part of it has come unstuck under her bonnet. Clothes are all original and in very good though not perfect condition. Blue cotton skirt and bonnet has slight fading (doesn't spoil the look of it in any way) and the silky blouse/onesie needs the seam between the legs re-sewing, there's also a small brown age re-lated mark on the back. She is a nice and clean apart from where her feet have caught the dust from sitting on the shelf in the spare bedroom.
