17 Vintage GILLETTE SAFETY RAZOR LOT 1940's 1950's Super Speed DE 6 No Date CodeDescription:This auction is for 17 vintage Gillette Safety Razors. Sixteen razors are twist-to-open Gillette Super Speeds and one is a Gillette 3 piece razor. Date codes include a B2 and D3 red tip, C2 (the 3 piece), H4, (3) W1, X3, (2) Y2, and Y4. Six razors have no date code and of these, 5 have a notch in the bar and one does not. All of these razors are operational, the doors open smoothly and close tightly, but they have appearance issues. A few look good and only need to be cleaned and polished while others have dark areas, what looks like metal corrosion, and may need to be replated. I believe with these date codes that most of the razors date to the 1940's and 1950's. This is a nice group of vintage Gillette razors that could look great again with some restoration.Shipping:If there are any questions regarding shipping, please contact me.
