This listing contains seventeen (17) vintage calendar tea towels / kitchen towels. The years vary from the 70's to the 80's. These do show some age and wear but still are great finds! Measurements and designs vary. Please refer to photos. They have the space to slide a dowel rod through making great decor pieces! This lot consist of the following:• one 1971 calendar towel with a red barn and winter scenery . The bottom reads " I like old things that time has tried. And proven strong and good and fine . I like old things .. They have a depth unknown by anything that's new. " measures approximately 16"x 25 1/2". No holes or tears or stains. This one is faded and the poem was somewhat hard for me to read. • one 1971 calendar towel with a red house and pretty greenery and flowers . Reads " Bless this house Oh Lord, we pray , make it safe by night and day. " No holes, tears or stains. Colors are still vibrant (for their age). Approximate measurements are 16 1/2"x 25 1/2"• one 1974 calendar towel with red house on it. Reads " Bless this house Oh Lord we pray make it safe by night and day. (The red house design is different than the one above) no stains , rips or stains. Colors are still bright . Measures approximately 15 1/4" x 26".•One 1975 calendar towel with a variety of herbs and what they are good for . For. Example chives - for usefulness , for joy- marjoram . Reads at top " Herbs too she knew and well of each could speak". The bottom part reads "Much virtue in herbs". No stains, tears, or holes. Measures approximately 16"x 25 3/4. Colors are still bright. •One 1976 calendar towel with two kittens on it. No tears, stains or rips. Colors still good! Measures approximately 15 1/2"x 25".•One 1976 calendar towel with a red barn and horse and wagons. Reads " Don't count the years They go so fast; Count your friends They will always last." No stains , rips , holes but this one has wear . The fabric looks "gathered" or "snagged" in places. Measures approximately 16" x 25 1/2". Colors are still looking good.•One 1977 calendar towel with a beautiful winter scene with a red barn and a house in background. No holes , tears or stains. Measures approximately 15" x 24". Color is still bright.•One 1978 calendar towel. Has a coo coo clock on it. Reads " Thank you for the world so sweet thank you for the food we eat" . "Thank you for the birds that sing . Thank you God for everything ". Very good shape for its age with colors being bright , no tears , holes or stains. Measures approximately 14 3/4"x 25". • one 1979 calendar towel with a wintery scene and red house. Has people on a horse drawn sled/ wagon waving to people at the house. Condition is good no tears stains or rips. Measures approximately 15"x 25 1/2". • one 1980 calendar towel with a village / town scene. Good shape with no stains , holes, or tears. Measures approximately 15"x 25". • one 1981 calendar towel with vegetables and kitchen cookware on it. Good shape no holes, tears or stains. Measures approximately 15 1/4"x 24".• one 1981 calendar towel with a village / town scene . Looks like the 1980 one. No tears, stains or rips. Measures approximately 15"x 24".• one 1982 calendar towel with red barn in fall scene. Good shape like all the others. Measures approximately 15"x 25 1/4. • 1983 one calendar towel with barn and water mill on it. Good shape. Measures approximately 15"x 25". • two 1984 calendar towel with barn and house and a hoarse drawn carriage on front. One is in Good shape . Measures 14"x 22 1/2". The other is frayed at the top and the part that holds the dowel rod is gone. • one 1988 calendar towel with a yellow house and sled in grass scenery. Reads" Memories keep us close in touch with yesterdays we loved so much. "Good shape . Measures approximately 16"x 23 1/2". This one is also marked made in the USA of imported fabric.
