This item offered is a Antique Art Nouveau Lamp.This Lamp has 3 women dancing around the column in the middle.The women are barefoot as well as one arm is up in the air and they have something in their hand(s).Under them is a round base.The middle of the base has very ornate nouveau designing.T is a round marking on the top side of the base;t is a symbol as well as a dotted splash type mark on each side and writing around the circle;fabrication Paris(under the symbol)and t is other writing but I can not make it out.As stated t is a column going up the middle of the lamp and that goes into a (separate)round bulbous portion(used to hold oil for burning)As this was an oil burning lamp that has been converted to electric But,could go back to an oil burner.In the middle of the base t is the metal sticking out in which the wick turner was but is not t now.The bulbous portion is pale yellow on the top with green underneath and gold gilding ornate design around the middle.T is ornate workings as well in between the bulbous portion as well as on the bottom of the column.The top of the base has the gold gilding as well. t is a finial on the top which screws on and off.Now the big question;what is this Art Nouveau Paris marked Lamp made of?Well I can tell you it is HEAVY.Because of the colors on the women,I can not tell.Their flesh is of natural read more
