Reverse: Ornamented oval triplex arms of Nuremberg (and the Holy Roman Empire) surmounted by bird.

At your attention a wonderful pure gold (.986) ducat klippe, struck in Nuremberg during 1700, attached on a stable and beautiful gold loop ( marked 585 ). This wonderful coin was probably a precious gift for a child baptized child by a (then) well off godparent. It seems that this gift was kept in a safe place for the last few hundred years as we see it in almost untouched condition, beautiful as it was eversince.
